Work Location:          Hanscom Air Force Base-Bedford/Lexington area

Work hours:              Typically Monday-Friday 0700-1530 (7:00-3:30) hrs. excluding holidays. On occasion, large events are conducted outside of the normal day.  These events are scheduled in advance.

Work Area:                Designated storage/work/office area is provided along with company vehicle and garage bay.

Tasks:                         Must be able to work independently, be organized and responsible. Must have computer knowledge for maintaining schedules & calendars. Candidate is responsible for providing a weekly calendar viewing all scheduled events. This position does require frequent lifting of up to 50lbs., bending and stretching.

Description:               On the job training is provided but previous knowledge of voice/surround/audio sound systems could be helpful. Candidate is responsible for maintenance and repair of the Giant Voice system on Hanscom Air Force Base. Trouble shooting any issues and replacing batteries along with maintaining a sufficient parts stock.

Candidate will also provide set up, operation and maintenance of various public address systems requested/scheduled for use by identified Base users.  Candidate will also operate, maintain and provide mobile/portable sign-out capability of public address systems provided by the 66th ABG/SC. Candidate would be responsible for scheduling base events for audio equipment, this includes signing audio equipment over to organizations for self-set up, operation and return to PA or to deliver components, set up, operate the equipment for large events and return equipment to assigned storage/work area. Candidate is accountable for all components and tools and must maintain audio equipment, podiums and tools. Repair as necessary upon approval from the Government.

Additional duties include and not limited to assisting the Video Teleconference manager or assist with component inventory.

Candidate must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background screening. Upon hiring, candidate will be required to apply and obtain a security clearance.
