Production Painter

Production Painter reports directly to the Production Assembly Manager in the paint shop and main job functions include paint, irradiate and engraving.

Responsible for painting, irradiating, engraving, etching and helicoil installation

Cross training in any other area of assembly if needed

Primarily first shift but must have flexibility to work first or second shift and occasional weekend.  Hours are 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday (9 hours).  Friday is a 4 hour day.

Required Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years’ of painting experience in industries such as surface mount, fiber optics, computer, military, automotive, clean-room electronics as well as good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use a microscope
  • Ability to work in a clean-room environment
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.  Security clearances may only be granted to US Citizens.  

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows computer operating system preferred
