We are seeking a driven individual to join our team as a pipe fitting apprentice.  Our workload has significantly increased and the current construction boom in the greater Boston area shows no signs of slowing down.  

Enterprise Equipment Co. Inc. is an open shop contractor and has been in the HVAC business for over 70 years.  Our installations include all facets of commercial and municipal heating, cooling, air conditioning and refrigeration. Our industry boasts countless vocational technical high school graduates and Enterprise is proud to have Vo-Tech alumni on our staff.

Located in Weymouth, MA, our focus remains heavily on public, PREVAILING WAGE work in the Boston area and surrounding cities and towns.

Job offer includes:

  • Apprenticeship training program to allow for a MA journeyman pipefitter’s license
  • Training options to achieve a MA Construction Supervisor License
  • Continuing education.
  • Prevailing wage pay on all public projects (this is the vast majority of our work).
  • Overtime after 40 hours.
  • Car/truck allowance with gas card (after vesting period).
  • Profit sharing and 401K with employer % match (after vesting period)

Qualifications and experience to include:

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to effectively communicate with office staff and coworkers
  • CORI (criminal background check) requirements
  • Driver’s license and personal transportation
  • OSHA 10 training (can be provided if hired).
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment 
  • Organizational and planning skills
