The Chief Engineer oversees all maintenance and engineering operations for the hotel. This position ensures the property's facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner while supporting guest satisfaction, brand standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Direct and oversee the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department.
- Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hot water systems, elevators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and life-safety systems.
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs.
- Prioritize and respond to guest and operational maintenance requests.
- Ensure timely completion of work orders and repairs.
