E.C. Shaw Co., Inc. is primarily a heating contractor who does mechanical work in Boston and the neighboring towns and cities. We mostly work on light commercial oil and gas heating systems, burners, and boilers.

Job Description:

E.C. Shaw Co. Inc. is seeking light commercial oil and gas heating service technicians/ oil burner service technicians for a full-time position.

Job Requirements:

• Applicant must have a valid driver’s license
• Applicant must have a heating service background
• Applicant must have an oil burner technician certificate or be enrolled in a course of similar trade. 
• Applicant must have good communication skills and be able to explain technical information to customers.
• Applicant must work well with others and also possess the ability to work independently.
• Applicant must have knowledge of tools, ability to follow controls/wiring schematics.
• Applicant must participate in on-call schedule.
• Applicant must keep company vehicle organized and clean.

Wages and Benefits:

• Pay is $25.00 to $52.00 per hour based on experience and abilities. 
• On-call standby pay
• Overtime pay after the first 8 hours of a day
