Participates in the technical operation of a combined heat and power generating station to ensure the power plant is operated and maintained safely and efficiently; operates, maintains, cleans and repairs steam generators and their auxillary equipment. Operates power and emergency generators on assigned shift, responds to emergency situations. Makes rounds of power plant, reads charts and gauges, inspects and makes adjustments, keeps station daily log, recording charts, gauges, fuel oil readings, maintains good houskeeping practices and performs related duties as required.
