Recovery Operator - Boron Fiber Plant

Position: Chemical Process Operator

Training: Comprehensive 12-month paid program

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 24/7 facility

  • Facilities Management experience

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • Starting Salary: $55,000-$65,000
  • After Training: $65,000-$80,000
  • Additional: Shift differentials, overtime opportunities

THE TECHNICAL WORK YOU'LL DO:

  • System Operations: Apply your knowledge of mechanical systems to monitor and control our gas recovery process
  • Equipment Maintenance: Leverage your technical expertise with pumps, valves, and control systems
  • Pressure Management: Use your understanding of pressurized systems to maintain plant operations
  • Technical Monitoring: Perform routine rounds checking equipment performance (similar to HVAC diagnostics)
  • Problem Solving: Apply your troubleshooting skills to maintain optimal system performance

FAMILIAR EQUIPMENT YOU'LL WORK WITH:

  • Compressors and pumps
  • Heat exchangers
  • Pressure control valves
  • Flow monitoring systems
  • Control panels and instrumentation

 HOW YOUR TRADE KNOWLEDGE APPLIES:

  • System Thinking: Understanding how components work together in a larger system
  • Pressure/Flow Dynamics: Knowledge of how gases and liquids move through systems
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand and operate industrial equipment
  • Safety Protocols: Experience working with potentially hazardous systems
  • Preventive Maintenance: Identifying issues before they become problems
