COMMERCIAL / INDUSTRIAL HVAC FIELD SERVICE TECH – (this is a direct hire!)

Can live anywhere in New England. Will be working out of their house.

Will on the road 4 days a week.

60% local

40 % on a plane.

The hourly rate will include bonuses/commission for any upselling of service plans and/or parts while on a customer site.

Perm people in this role are making close to $90K, which includes their hourly base, plus the bonuses/commission.

We have a client seeking a Commercial/Industrial HVAC Field Service Technician who will travel to customer sites to safely repair, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and industrial dehumidification equipment. This position requires the ability to work independently, and candidates should have strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Technicians travel up to 75% of the time to customer sites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites to perform service and customer support
• Diagnose and correct malfunctions on equipment
• Provide customer training on our client’s standard equipment
• Provide technical feedback on equipment by submitting detailed field service reports
• Communicate professional with customers in a service-oriented manner both in person and in writing
• Promote sales and service on company equipment

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years minimum experience in the commercial or industrial HVAC industry and/or a combination of work experience and the successful completion of HVAC/refrigeration vocational school
• Ability to travel extensively, up to 75% is required
• CFC Certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire is required
• Experience with Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration systems and components
• PLC controls knowledge highly recommended
