40 hours - Monday thru Friday 7:30 - 4pm
Work independently at times on basic electrical projects and general maintenance requirements. Be a team player who is willing to work within a group of various tradesmen, in a fast paced environment, to achieve the same goal. OSHA 10 certified and NFPA-70-E training a plus. Electrical trouble shooting skills a must with electronic background
Must have an active Massachusetts Electrician License, and experience working in a healthcare facility. Well-informed with the NFPA Code & Regulations pertaining to Electrical and Life Safety
Advanced Knowledge with: mass electrical codes, MEP engineered drawings, Emergency Generators and transfer switch operation, Electrical Switchgear operation, high voltage electrical distribution systems, Fire Alarm Notification & Life Safety Equipment, and Line Isolation Monitoring (LIM) systems.
Understanding in the design and operations of: Nurse Call Systems, Pneumatic Tube Systems, Television & Cable TV, hospital electrical distribution, testing and maintenance equipment, emergency notification systems, and local fire codes.
