Customer Service Coordinator (Braintree, MA)

AFA Protective Systems, Inc. is looking for a qualified candidate to perform data entry through its central station alarm automation and accounting systems, security systems programming, oversight and administration over system repairs and installations, technical alarm system troubleshooting and routine day-to-day customer service and specialized support to its customers.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
*Experience working with burglar alarm, fire alarm and video surveillance systems.
*Knowledge of central station data entry a plus.
*Experience in computer data entry (preferably in the alarm industry)
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Strong verbal communication skills
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail
*Outstanding customer service skills
*Knowledge of personal computer systems and software to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
*Perform routine updates to subscriber contact list information.
* Create new account sites/systems in central station automation system and perform routine daily account administration.
*Perform routine alarm code changes through the use of remote programming software.
*Data entry and dispatch of customer requests for service and maintenance to systems.
*Technical troubleshooting and programming of alarm panels (preferably with Bosch, DMP, Honeywell).
*Assist subscribers with alarm activations and alarm activity reports.
*Must be able to maintain excellent record keeping and follow up as it pertains to the status of service work orders.
NATURE & SCOPE:
This position reports directly to the National Account Customer Service Manager. This position assists the Customer Service Manager in the everyday execution of all routine customer data entry and service functions including but not limited to alarm call list updates, system programming, technical troubleshooting and service call dispatch.
