Lead Maintenance Technician

140 Clarendon Residences and Hotel located in the Back Bay area of Boston, MA is seeking candidates for a Lead Maintenance Technician role. The property consists of 118 residential units, 66 hotel rooms, and 10K square feet of commercial space.  Reporting to Director of Maintenance, the Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for the supervision of the maintenance delivery program and its staff. This includes building and maintenance systems, working with contractors, writing specifications, reading and comparing proposals, assigning work orders, conducting inspections, scheduling special projects, and coordinating the preventative maintenance program. This role will also provide technical support and training to the maintenance staff.  Requirements:  This is a hands-on position so candidates must be skilled in the areas of painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repair.  The property is open for business 24/7, so candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends as needed.  Excellent communication and customer services skills are required.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.  Knowledge of Yardi is a plus.  Must have a Valid Driver’s license and be able to participate in the emergency call rotation and snow removal.
