Maintenance Supervisor

This is a full time position

Position Summary:       

This position requires a technically savvy and experienced maintenance professional for a Maintenance Supervisor position. The Position is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to ensure maintenance standards are achieved and sustained the property. The purpose of the position is to oversee all maintenance operations, obtain the best value for its maintenance and capital expenditure dollars, and provide leadership to site maintenance personnel.

Primary responsibilities include:    

Oversee maintenance operations
Ensure maintenance functions are completed to standards. Functions include but are not limited to: curb appeal, building interior and exterior, building system reviews, preventative maintenance scheduling, maintenance site logs, seasonal maintenance to include snow removal, tracking FOB entry keys for residents, common area security
Oversee the timely completion of work orders, review building inspections, and perform maintenance audits.
Ensure employees are following safety standards and safe work practices
Ensure sites are prepared to handle emergencies. Coordinate maintenance personnel response and efforts in emergency situations on site such as fires or floods, during and after normal business hours.
Work with Senior Management and Property Managers to adhere to budget and prepare budget forecasts
Assess, analyze, and recommend capital projects with the direction of the regional manager
Assess maintenance staff and provide guidance through training and development.
Assist Senior Management and Property Managers in training, and succession planning

Job Requirements:

Education – High School or equivalent plus applicable vocational or technical training
Minimum of 2 years’ experience
Property Management/Condominium industry experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Proven leadership and management skills
Strong Computer Skills – Microsoft Office, Outlook
