Objective: The Facilities technician program has been designed by building managers and mechanics to provide a broad overview of modern building systems while giving you an understanding of individual systems pertaining to building equipment.
Description: We stress an overall management approach including the importance of knowing modern building operations. Managers and mechanics must know how certain types of equipment interact with each other to successfully maintain, trouble shoot and plan the proper operation of a modern complex for their clients. The course also reviews recent federal and state regulations that deal with safety issues and the environment (Lock/MSDS or Right to Know Act, Confined Space Act, Clean Air Act and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). Also included is the “10” hour OSHA. course.Outline:
