Objective:  This program is designed as a full time program. It is intended not only for students who are eligible for retraining, but also for those already in the trade to significantly expand their present set of skills in a matter of weeks. 

Description:  This extremely popular program is a combination of 3 of our best courses that provide a broad and fundamental technical knowledge base in  HVACR, Oil Heat Technician and Gas Heat Technician.  Students are taught in a hands-on environment with actual working units, visual aids, representative lectures.  We maintain our labs in state-of-the-art condition.;

Note: Preparation for the E.P.A. exam is included in this program.

HVACR Outline: This course is intended for the refrigeration trainee and others who are interested in the basic principles of Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration.  Many of our modern office buildings, apartment buildings, manufacturing plants and hospitals have installed complex refrigeration systems which require the level of training this course provides.

Oil Heat Outline:This course will provide students with the basic skills of installation, troubleshooting and repair of oil fired heating systems.  Our curriculum is intended to provide information necessary to prepare for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Certificate of Competency, as an oil burner technician.

Gas Heat Technician:This course is lecture and hands-on in our modern gas heat laboratory leading to a certificate for residential gas heat.

Basic Electricity: This segment of the program is derived from our very successful Basic Electricity course and is heavily oriented toward the requirements of the HVAC industry.  The course offers lectures and “hands on” training in our state-of-the-art electrical lab.
